Freddie’s birthplace is Los Angeles, California, and he was brought up as a Roman Catholic. The early part of his life was spent in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From a very young age, Freddie was interested in acting, and used to star in school productions. Before plunging into an acting career, he planned to become a civil engineer! 

Career

In 1995, Freddie was cast in a guest role in “Family Matters,” a TV series. In 1996, the charming and handsome American actor made his movie debut in “To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday.” He continued to act in stellar movies, such as “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and its sequel. In 1999, Freddie acted in the romantic comedy, “She’s All That.” 

Thus, Freddie continued to develop his career, and was also a heartthrob of many in the late 90s. He has also offered his voice for many characters in several films. 

Personal Life

In 1997, Freddie met Sarah Michelle Gellar, a talented actress, during the shooting of “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Later, they started dating, and then got engaged in April 2001. On the 1st of September, 2002, the duo tied the knot. They have two children – a son and a daughter.
