Can Noah Centineo restore He-man to its former glory?

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star Noah Centineo will be taking on the role of He-Man.

Baby boomers and millennials might remember He-Man from the Masters of the Universe. They grew up watching the famous Cartoon series that saw He-Man battle the notorious Skeletor.

A He-man movie was released in the August of 1987 as ‘Masters of the Universe’ that wasn’t received quite well judging from its score on Rotten Tomatoes that gives it a paltry seventeen percent.

Fresh from winning hearts and bagging awards for Best Kiss and the Best Breakthrough Performance, a jacked up Noah Centineo spoke about donning the role of He-Man and how big of a challenge it was to take up the role. From his physique, it is very well evident that he’s been getting in shape for the role.

The real question is what direction the movie is going to take. Will it keep it fun and mellow like Ragnarok or will it take a serious and rustic like the Lord of The Rings. We’ll have to wait and find that out. But Noah is at his peak and we hope he owns the role.

Aaron and Adam Nee will be directing this new take on Masters of the Universe. Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, who had previously worked on the screenplay for Iron Man and Men in Black: International will be writing this one too. The film has received a release date of March 5, 2021.
