BTS ‘Butter’ Rocks the Billboard Chart for Weeks Now!

Well, it is no surprise that BTS “Butter” rules the billboard chart for weeks. You might have heard that “Butter” is the longest leading hit of 2021 and it spends its ninth week at no.1 Billboard hot 100 songs list. “Butter” has become the South Korean superstar group’s longest leading topper in Italy.

“Butter” is a song written and recorded by South Korean BTS boys Jenna Andrews, RM, Alex Bilowitz, Sebastian Garcia, Robert Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, and Ron Perry. BTS “Butter” was released as a digital single in May 2021 through Big Hit Music and Sony Music Entertainment.

BTS “Butter” was released on HYBE/BigHit Music/Columbia Records. It drew 30.5 million radio airplay audience impressions and 8.1 million U.S. streams at the end of July. It holds No.21 position on the radio songs which later dropped to 40-44 on streaming songs. Around 112,900 “Butter” was also sold in the tracking week.

Out of 54 titles that have launched, “Butter” is the 13th one to spend its first four weeks on the top spot at the NO.1 chart. BTS “Butter” is the first song to earn the honor since Olivia Rodrigo’s “Driver’s License” logged its first wight frames on the Hot 100 list.

“Butter” has been recognized as a commercial success as it reached the top 10 in 23 countries worldwide and most importantly in South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, and the United States.
