Bryce Dallas Howard says how her “natural body weight” was a concern. The studio executives had a conversation about asking Bryce to lose some pounds. The actor says she has “been asked to not use my natural body in cinema.” The idea of asking the actor to lose some weight dropped once the director, Colin Trevorrow, stepped in.
Jurassic World Dominion is the third movie in the Jurassic World series. “On the third movie, it was actually because there were so many women cast that it was something that Colin felt very strongly about in terms of protecting me,” says Bryce about how Colin put an end to the weight loss notion.
Bryce added how she had to do several stunts for the film, which would not be possible if she dieted. The restriction in the diet might have impacted her energy and performance. “So I’m really thrilled at all the action I got to do, and I got to do it with my body,” she says, even though she did not lose any weight. The director’s understanding of the actress and how she will be able to perform actions without losing any weight and proceeding with the actress as she deserves appreciation.
