Brooks is one of the names that will remain in the books of Golf. He will be remembered for his old classic way of playing the game and also for making controversial comments.
Well, the buzz is that has now turned his eyes at Rory McIlroy and speaking on the rivalry he stated: “I’ve been out here for, what, five years: Rory hasn’t won a Major since I’ve been on the PGA tour. So I just don’t view it as a rivalry.”
Though it looked like a usual comment its intentions look suspicious. Brooks has been consistent in his career with 4 grand slams in 3 years and came as a runner up in yet another game.
But in the case of Rory, he had won 4 majors way back in 2014 and sounds like Koepka is right in one way. Despite this, he is known for his enmity after his recent comment on the Irish player.
Besides, Koepka being on the top, it’s Rory who has been commercials favorite and he is eyed more than him. To add more fire to it his comments are quite triggering that it keeps the Golfers on alert.
He has also been alleged for this behavior especially for a large sum of cheques he demands. But in the case of Rory McILroy he has always approached the game with utter respect and dignity.
