Another video from @annakloots documenting Nick and I from day 1 till now. Nick always said we were completely different people that normally would never be together. We challenged each other and in doing so caused each other to grow and change. We pushed each other’s buttons in the best of ways. He would always look at me and say, “I’m the luckiest.” Well darling, I was the luckiest to get to spend five years with you and to share a son that will always remind me of you. ❤️
Amanda and Nick bumped into each other while working in musical Bullets Over Broadway in 2014 for which he was nominated for Tony. But at that time Amanda was married to her former husband whom she went on to divorce.
Speaking on this she shared on her Instagram that: “We were friends first and then fell in love,” and “We got married in NYC in 2017 and had Elvis two years later.”
Within a year of Elvis’s birth, Nick became sick and was initially hospitalized in Los Angeles ‘Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’ at the end of March which was diagnosed as Pneumonia at the start but later she affected with COVID-19 and has kept on having complications, with a lung infection and septic shock.
Amidst Nick’s admission, he also had his right leg removed and has got a temporary pacemaker for his heart.
