Justin penned ‘Cry Me a River’ just two hours after his split with Britney?

Justin’s new book, Hindsight which was released on Oct, 30, talks about more than his music. Justin Timberlake, revealed that he penned his classic smash, “Cry Me A River,” just two hours after he called it quits with his ex, Britney Spears. The iconic hit was released in 2002, just following the pair’s split.  “I translated my feelings into a form where people could listen and hopefully relate to it. People heard me and they understood it because we’ve all been there,” he also said of the track.

Justin doesn’t mention Britney by name in the book, it was the only highly-publicized breakup surrounding the singer at the time. So it’s safe to say she gave Justin some inspiration there. The book also delves into the details of his marriage with Jessica Biel, he recalls the first time he met his now wife. “When I met Jess, it was undeniable how beautiful she is,” Timberlake gushed in his book. Hindsight talks many exciting things about JT’s life, take a sneak peek through his Instagram, to see how excited he is.
