David Justice Just Spilled ALL the Tea About His Halle Berry Marriage

Ex-Husband Goes Full Blast on “All the Smoke” Podcast!!! Oh honey, grab your popcorn because David Justice just served up some PIPING hot tea about his marriage to Halle Berry that has the internet absolutely losing its collective mind! 

The former baseball star went on Matt Barnes’ “All the Smoke” podcast and basically aired out ALL the dirty laundry from their 1993-1997 marriage, and let’s just say… it’s messier than a reality TV reunion show.

So what was Justice’s biggest complaint about being married to the future Oscar winner? “She didn’t cook or clean!” Yes, you read that right. This man really went on a podcast in 2025 complaining that Halle Berry – HALLE FREAKING BERRY – wasn’t domestic enough for his Midwest sensibilities.

The Audacity is OFF THE CHARTS

“My knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships just wasn’t vast,” Justice admitted, which is honestly the understatement of the century. This man literally said he expected his wife to “cook, clean, [be] traditional” like his mom because he’s “a Midwest guy.” 

Sir, this is not 1953, and your wife was literally building a Hollywood empire!

But wait, there’s more! Justice also threw shade at Berry’s mothering potential, saying “she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem like, motherly” when he was thinking about having kids. The nerve! Meanwhile, Berry was out there starring in movies and becoming a literal icon.

Berry Was Busy Building an EMPIRE

Let’s put this in perspective, shall we? During their marriage from 1993-1997, Halle was starring in “Queen,” “The Flintstones,” and “Losing Isaiah.” You know, just casually building the career that would eventually land her an Oscar for “Monster’s Ball” and make her Storm in the X-Men franchise. But sure, David, she should have been home making you sandwiches instead of making cinematic history!

He Blames Her Work Schedule Too

As if the cooking and cleaning comments weren’t enough, Justice also complained about Berry’s work schedule, saying “We spent a lot of time apart because she was doing movies in this country, that country”. Oh, the horror! Your wife was… checks notes… working and being successful. How dare she!

At Least He Admits They Needed Help

To his credit (and we’re being very generous here), Justice did acknowledge that “we honestly probably could have made it if I knew about therapy”. Ya think? Maybe some professional help could have explained that successful women don’t exist solely to make you dinner, my guy.

Meanwhile, Halle Berry went on to win an Oscar, become a global superstar, and have two beautiful children with other partners. She’s living her best life while her ex is on podcasts complaining about her lack of domestic skills from 30 years ago. Who won here? We’ll let you be the judge!
