The “Modern Family” star Julie Bowen admitted in a podcast that she once fell in love with a girl even though she herself is straight. She added that despite the woman being a lesbian, the lady she was in love with did not take her into consideration.
“I’m straight. I’ve always been straight. I was in love with a woman for a while but she didn’t love me back. She liked women but she didn’t like me in that way. It never really took off so I never really had to challenge my concept of my sexuality,” said Bowen in ‘Quitters’ Podcast.
As she was interviewing the ‘The Bachelor’ star Becca Tilley about her sexual label who recently came out as a lesbian. Becca in May made it public that she is in love with Hayley Kiyoko.
“I hope people don’t always have to come out,” said Bowen to Hilley.
Tilley told Bowen that she had never given her sexuality any thought and that nobody should have to consider the label or come out. She proceeded by stating that love is a natural emotion that people shouldn’t have to explain to anyone and that coming out brings a lot of worry and anxiety.
