âI felt like a punk,â David Roback said in 1990, âbut when I picked up the guitar and started playing it, the music didnât come out sounding punk. It was something else.â My obituary of the great LA-born producer-guitarist. https://t.co/a8BRqK8CDQ

This is awful. From Rain Parade to Clay Allison to Rainy Day to Opal to Mazzy Star, Iâve loved everything heâs ever been a part of. Have you ever listened to Opalâs âHappy Nightmare Babyâ LP? You should. RIP David Roback. https://t.co/6iMTrvH2jk
