Well, guess who’s gonna storm the iconic stage with a blazing performance this February? It’s none other than ‘The Weekend’. The NFL has tapped the right moment to intrigue their fans by tagging along with Pepsi and Roc Nation to host the Super Bowl LV Halftime Show. The show is set to dazzle on February 7 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tamba Bay, Florida.
‘The Weekend’ official handle shared the happy news with the fans earlier today.
“We all grow up watching the world’s biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position. I’m humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year,” The Weeknd said in a statement.
It’s just before the Pandemic where Shakira and Jennifer Lopez rocked the Super Bowl Show with their thunderous performance proving that their age is just a number and they still keep dazzling.
“The Weeknd has introduced a sound all his own. His soulful uniqueness has defined a new generation of greatness in music and artistry,” said JAY-Z in a statement. “This is an extraordinary moment in time and the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show is going to be an extraordinary experience with an extraordinary performer.”
