R. Kelly Alleges Prison Murder Plot After Collapsing in Jail

The disgraced R&B star, currently serving time in a North Carolina federal prison for multiple convictions including child sex crimes and racketeering, has made explosive claims: that prison officials tried to have him killed.

In a bombshell court filing, Kelly’s legal team alleged that federal prison authorities were involved in a murder plot targeting the singer by enlisting members of a white supremacist gang. The alleged motive? To stop him from exposing damaging information about prison officials.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get darker—Kelly, 58, reportedly collapsed in his cell and had to be hospitalized. According to his attorneys, he was overdosed with medication, developed blood clots in his lungs, and was rushed for emergency treatment. A hospital allegedly planned to perform surgery, but he was whisked back to solitary confinement instead.

“These people did overdose him,” said Kelly’s attorney Beau B. Brindley in an emotionally charged court statement. “They left him with blood clots in his lungs and removed him from a hospital that was ready to operate.” He adds that this happened mere days after Kelly uncovered the alleged murder plot.

The singer, best known for hits like Ignition (Remix) and I Believe I Can Fly, is now asking for temporary home detention, citing urgent safety and health concerns.

Meanwhile, federal prosecutors are waving off the claims as nothing more than a “fanciful conspiracy,” implying there’s no factual basis and dismissing the idea as absurd.
